I had the idea for the shop after starting a small business creating Cross-Stitch kits and hoops during the first lockdown in 2020. Using my Cross-Stitch Goddess Instagram page I began to meet a huge number of amazing people who were using the lockdown to start or grow small businesses from their homes. The sheer amount of talent in Sheffield and beyond astounded me and I loved the sense of community as well as being able to support these makers personally and recommend them to my friends.
In Loving Memory
In early 2021 my Mum a healthy capable and strong woman, Judith Anne Baxter, was very unexpectedly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away in a shockingly short period of time.
Her loss left a huge hole in the lives of those who knew her. My Mum had always known that my dream was to work for myself before she passed she gifted me some inheritance money saying 'Now you can open your business'.
So Annie Jude's was born named in honour of my mum, showcasing beautiful homemade items and supporting small business talent from Sheffield and beyond.
My aim is to continue to curate a wide variety of products ensuring everyone who comes into my shop can find something they love.
